Midori Afternoon Tea with Twinings
Did you know that tea is the second most consumed beverage in the world after water?
Midori Clark Hotel and Casino conducted its first ever event on May 30, 2016 in a form of a relaxing afternoon tea-time session. The event was facilitated by Mr. Charles Arthur Smith, the ambassador of Twinings for South East Asia.
To start things off, Mr. Charles taught our F&B team the history of tea, types of tea, its benefits as well as how to properly serve tea. Our F&B team were eager to learn and asked various inquiries revolving around tea. After the brief discussion, the team were now addressed to try the different exquisite flavors Twinings has to offer. Midori Clark Hotel and Casino offers only the best tea that our customers will surely love. Our tea is available in all our outlets and can also be found in all types of room accommodations.
After having lunch, the team started making preparations with the set-up before the guests arrive. The F&B staff were really excited and made sure that everything looked perfect before serving our beloved guests.
While the staff are setting-up, CLTV 36 conducted a short interview with BBIn's President, Mr. Bong Alvaro. Mr. Alvaro briefly discussed his future plans with the company and as well as Midori Hotel's various offers that will surely delight families, couples and friends alike and give an experience like no other. After the interview various guests, bloggers and media started arriving at the venue and it seems that our guests are really excited about the event. Our General Manager, Mr. Vic Chan was also present in the event to welcome our valued guests.
Now that the guests are comfortable in their seats, Mr. Charles started off the seminar about tea. While he discusses, our F&B staff ready the heavenly snacks that our guests will munch on while they enjoy their afternoon tea.
Because of the seminar beforehand, our F&B staff are equipped with the necessary prowess to skillfully serve both the tea and snacks.
Mr. Charles entertained all the guests and answered all their inquiries. We were surprised about all the questions asked by media groups involving tea! We now believe that tea can be a very interesting topic once you get really involved in it.
After the fun afternoon tea time with the guests, it was time to bid farewell. We thanked Mr. Charles for the wonderful seminar and teachings that will surely have an impact especially for our F&B crew.
