New Year's Eve Gala and Countdown at Midori Clark Hotel & Casino

What have you done to enjoy the last eve of 2016? Did you go out with friends or choose to spend time with your family? All-around are parties and events that are filled with fireworks, food, and drink, and just a whole lot of celebrators hoping to start the New Year on a happy note. Wherever you decided to chant the countdown on New Year’s eve, we hope it was full of great moments to cap the year off.

Now, let us share you our remarkable moments spent with our dear guests, friends and colleagues.

At 8:00 in the evening, Festa Hall open its doors to serve a special dinner buffet to our guests who choose to celebrate the New Year at Midori.

While enjoying their food, some wine enthusiasts opt to try some vintage and young fine wine selections offered by our generous sponsor, Yats Wine Cellars

Aside from the fine selections of wines offered by Yats, our Food and Beverage Department prepared some cocktails for our guests to enjoy. Buffet plus open bar, would that be nice for an everyday affair?

To liven up the night, entertainment from Red and Friends band played some variety of international and local party music, including Korean and Chinese which suited the venue atmosphere and the kind of guests that we pamper.

We also invited one of Pampanga's best DJ, Jhelou Manansala to pump up the party.

In between the entertainment, we had some raffle prizes such as free accommodations, free buffet coupons and discount coupons on rooms which guests can use starting February 2016. One of our guests during the event who won the raffle are former Universal Motion Dancers James and Jim Salas who showed us some moves of their famous dance "Always".

Other guests also shared their talents and joined the fun while waiting for the countdown which we held at the garden area.

Most of the guests we had are family and lovely couples.

At around 11:30 p.m. we invited our guests to go down to the garden area to watch the fire works display. While waiting for the 30-minutes countdown to 2017, guests were served with some cocktails and hors d'oeuvres. DJ Jhelou mixed some party music while guests are drinking, dancing and making noises as we also provided them party poppers.

Party and fun did not just ended like that, as one of our bosses offered games for kids from age 12 for a horn blowing contest. Winners got Php 2,000 each and those who participated had their consolation prizes of Php 500 each, not bad!

So, the most quite and shy little girl won the game. Congratulations!

But wait, some kids-at-heart wants to show off their skills too! So, let's give in to their desire. Just for bragging rights, no prizes at all! :)
