Midori Clark Hotel holds Bloodletting Program
In support to the Philippine
Red Cross and to promote health awareness to its employees, Midori Clark Hotel and Casinofacilitated a bloodletting activity last May
17, 2019 at the Baccus Lounge.
Dubbed as the Help save a life, Give the gift of blood,
around 50 donors participated in the
said event. Participants came from Midori Clark Hotel subsidiaries such as the
Philippine Business Group, Aqua Planet, Midori Casino, FLDCC and BB
International. Along with the subsidiaries, some of the donors also came from the
partnered hotels in Clark such as Quest Hotel and Park-Inn by Radisson Clark.
For two consecutive
years, Midori Clark Hotel has been strengthening its collaboration with the
Philippine Red Cross (PRC), the premier humanitarian organization in the
country in providing health services.
Through this project, MidoriClark Hotel remains committed to give charitable service as volunteer employees
donated bags of blood which were turned over to the Philippine Red Cross – Pampanga
chapter.
“
A bloodletting program is being facilitated every year from Midori Clark Hotel,
not only by abiding the health and wellness policy but we also aim to take part
in donating blood which is a vital medical stipulation to others.” said Midori
Clark Hotel General Manager Vic Chan.
In the end, the program ran
for almost 10 hours in which about 21,150cc of blood were donated.
“With pride, I must say that the Midori team
is unified to reinforce a healthier lifestyle and most importantly, hope to our
brothers and sisters in need.” GM Vic Chan added.
